Federal procurement and VA Veterans First
SBA administers Veteran Small Business Certification, also called VetCert. Certified SDVOSBs may compete for eligible federal SDVOSB set-aside and sole-source opportunities. VA Veterans First has its own procurement rules and priorities for eligible veteran-owned businesses; it is not a separate current VA certification program.
Certification does not replace solicitation-specific size, registration, product-origin, performance or subcontracting requirements. Confirm current eligibility and the governing acquisition terms with the contracting office.
